We’re hiring for a Sheet Metal Worker to join a well-established engineering company in Oldham, supplying precision metal components to a variety of key sectors.
This role offers long-term security and the opportunity to work with high-spec materials in a highly regulated environment.

- Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Early finish on Fridays
- 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Sheet Metal Worker?
- Cutting, bending, and forming sheet metal components to precise tolerances
- Welding and fabricating mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and copper
- Interpreting engineering drawings to produce accurate components
- Working with TIG & MIG welding processes for light to medium gauge materials (1mm – 10mm)
- Using press brakes, saws, and other fabrication machinery
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards including NDT and X-ray inspections
What do you need?
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Fabricator
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
- Competence in TIG & MIG welding
- Previous work within highly regulated industries (desirable)
