Production Supervisor

We’re hiring for a Production Supervisor to join a large-scale manufacturing site in Glossop.

If you’ve got experience in managing teams within a manufacturing or production setting and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you.

• £16.03 per hour
• Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Overtime available (depending on production demand)

What will you be doing as a Production Supervisor?

• Leading a team of Production Operatives to meet safety, cost, and quality targets
• Creating a safe working environment and carrying out H&S briefings
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting best practice
• Managing staffing levels and training needs within your area
• Supporting maintenance and engineering teams to keep assets running smoothly
• Monitoring supply of materials, overseeing stock takes, and keeping accurate records
• Ensuring all production documentation and procedures are maintained and up to date
• Acting as a role model for safety, performance, and engagement across your team

What do you need?

• 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar supervisory role
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience using SAP (desirable)
• ILM or IOSH qualifications (desirable)
