We’re looking for a Machine Operative to join a leading manufacturer in New Mills, High Peak.
This is a role suited to someone with previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment, as you will be operating machinery, checking product quality and handling materials and finished goods.
What’s on offer?
- £13 per hour
- Monday – Thursday | 7:15am – 5:30pm
- 24 days holiday plus bank holidays

What will you be doing as a Machine Operative?
- Operating and monitoring machinery to produce foam products
- Performing quality inspections to make sure products meet defined standards
- Packing and labelling finished products
- Handling raw materials and storing finished goods
- Assisting with machine setup and changeovers
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What will you need?
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- A background in engineering is preferred
- CNC machinery experience would be advantageous
