Would you like to be part of a team of Administrators where no two days are the same? Do you enjoy problem solving and working in a fast pace environment?

An opportunity has become available for an Administrator to join a busy office in Cheadle Hulme. You will be part of a small team which is responsible for all ‘back-office tasks. This is an extremely varied position and you will be joining a hardworking, busy department.

The company have been established for more than 100 years and have over ten depots across the UK. They are recognised within their industry as a market leader and a key supplier to companies within the oil, construction and manufacturing sectors.

What’s on offer?

  • £18,000 – £20,000 per annum DOE
  • Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (37.5 hours p/w)
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Free parking on-site

What will you be doing as an Administrator?

  • Raising and sending invoices and processing orders that have been submitted by the sales department
  • Liaising with Head Office on orders and weekly reports on customer orders
  • Liaising with internal and external departments on orders that have been submitted and working towards deadlines
  • Supporting the General Manager with any administration duties that are required including setting up new client accounts on the internal system
  • Logging delivery notes, general filling and data input

What do you need?

  • Previous experience as an Administrator or similar
  • Experience raising and processing invoices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work in a reactive busy office environment

The office has a walk-in counter and orders are also received over the phone or via email which the sales department are responsible for assisting with.
