We’re hiring for an Administrator to join a growing construction company based in Glossop. Established for more than 20 years, they provide expert services on bespoke projects within the care, retail, leisure, hospitality, and pharmaceutical industries and have been recognised within their field for accomplishing complex projects.

You will be working in a modern office environment based in Glossop, supported by a ‘hands on’ Managing Director as part of a fun but hard-working team. The office is covid secure and they are looking for someone office based initially, however this may be reviewed after probation/training.


What’s on offer?

  • £19,000 – £21,000 per annum

What will you be doing as an Administrator?

  • Responsible for incoming enquires from clients over the phone and via email
  • Liaising between departments and supporting senior members of the team with general administration
  • Placing orders with suppliers and assisting with procurement
  • Assisting with customer interaction on social media platforms
  • Processing invoices and chasing relevant paperwork from contacts and suppliers to ensure projects are met in a timely matter
  • Responsible for keeping the company spreadsheets updated for onsite and offsite team members
  • Taking enquires from employees who are onsite and assisting them with any support they require from the Head Office


What do you need?

  • A minimum of two year’s current experience working as an Administrator or similar
  • Experience dealing with multi administration tasks i.e. processing invoice, dealing with customer enquiries etc.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft packages, especially Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
