Clamp Truck Driver

A large national manufacturer are currently hiring for an experienced Clamp Truck Driver to join their well-established team based in Stalybridge, Tameside. This company have been established for almost 200 years and pride themselves on their service and products.

What’s on offer?

• £11.40 per hour
• Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 2:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
• Overtime available
• Free parking

What will you be doing as a Clamp Truck Driver?

• Operating of the clamp truck to distribute product within the production area (3 tonne reals)
• Supporting the warehouse by loading and unloading stock
• Operating machinery to assist with processing waste
• Keeping your working area safe and clear from hazards at all times
• Understanding written & verbal instructions and effectively communicating with your colleagues

What do you need?

• Experience operating a clamp truck is essential
• At least 2 years’ experience operating a forklift truck and a valid counterbalance licence
• Previous experience working in a factory / warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
• Good numeracy skills
• The ability to work to targets
