Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join one of the most reputable companies in the engineering industry at their Bredbury site.

In this role you will play a crucial role in machining components to technical drawings and specifications, contributing to the ongoing success of the business whilst developing your career in a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Monday to Friday
40 hours per week
25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
4% employer pension contribution

What will you be doing as a CNC Machinist?

Machining components to technical drawings and specifications
Setting up and operating CNC machines
Manufacturing components from engineering drawings while adhering to company quality procedures
Performing self-inspection of your own work
Conducting preventative and general maintenance checks
Ensuring compliance with HSE legislation at all times

What do you need?

Minimum 5 years of experience operating CNC machines
Must have an engineering apprenticeship or similar
Previous experience within the oil and gas industry (preferred)
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Proficiency in setting and operating CNC machines, particularly mill turn
Capability to edit and prove out CNC programmes
Skill in using a range of measuring equipment such as micrometres and verniers
Familiarity with Fanuc or Mazatrol is advantageous

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
