CNC Operator

KPJ Group is currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to join a global leader in bespoke manufacturing at their site in Hayfield. This role involves operating CNC machines to produce components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards.

What’s on offer?

• £13.00 – £15.00 per hour
• Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Early finish on Fridays
• Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate)
• 32 days holiday

What will you be doing as a CNC Operator?

• Operating CNC machines, including multi-axis and sliding head types, to produce components
• Monitoring the machining process to ensure parts are produced to required specifications and quality standards
• Performing routine quality checks on components
• Reporting any machine faults or unusual occurrences through approved Maintenance Reporting Procedures
• Reading engineering drawings and following detailed instructions for machining operations

What do you need?

• CNC operating experience
• Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls (desirable)
• A recognised engineering qualification or time served as an apprentice (desirable)
