CNC Setter

KPJ Group is currently recruiting for a CNC Setter to join a global leader in bespoke manufacturing at their site in Hayfield. This role involves setting up and preparing CNC machines for production, ensuring efficient operation and quality standards.

What’s on offer?

• £16.00 – £19.00 per hour
• Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Early finish on Fridays
• Overtime available (paid at an enhanced rate)
• 32 days holiday

What will you be doing as a CNC Setter?

• Setting up a range of CNC machines, including multi-axis and sliding head types
• Adjusting machine settings to ensure components are produced to required tolerances and quality standards
• Conducting quality checks to verify that components meet specifications
• Performing “Start of Work” machine inspections before each shift
• Reporting any machine faults or unusual occurrences through approved Maintenance Reporting Procedures
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to ensure proper setup

What do you need?

• CNC setting experience.
• Experience with 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines (Heidenhain or Hurco preferred).
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls (desirable).
• A recognised engineering qualification or time served as an apprentice (desirable).
