We’re hiring for a CNC Turner to join a leading precision engineering company based in Rochdale.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality components for a variety of industries.
What’s on offer?
- £16.00 – £18.00 per hour
- Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm (early finish on Fridays)
- Overtime available (where required)
- 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
- Standard pension scheme
What will you be doing as a CNC Turner?
- Operating and programming CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, including Doosan links
- Working with live tooling and XZ-axis configurations
- Producing precision components in materials such as plastics, exotics, stainless steel, and mild steel
- Handling small-scale turning work, less than 25mm
- Using Fusion 360 for offline programming to create and refine CNC programs
- Ensuring all components meet exacting quality standards
What do you need?
- Previous experience as a CNC Turner
- Previous programming experience
- Familiarity with Fanuc
- A relevant engineering qualification (desirable)

Excellent service. I had never been with an agency before but if I ever had to again i would definitely go with kpj! Nothing was a problem, payslips always on time and correct and everybody I spoke to was lovely and helpful. Would recommend to anybody if they needed 👍

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. In conversation with me, she was helpful, enthusiastic and very motivated to solve the problem of finding a job for me. I also have no problem calling the office to ask about something. All information or advice is presented very precisely. Also in my case, everything lasted only four days. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
