We’re hiring for a Customer Support Agent to join our office in Glossop. As part of our resourcing team, your role will be customer service based which will involve supporting a vibrant sales team in a busy, lively, target driven sales office. You’ll act as the first point of contact for job seekers who are looking to register with our agency, as well as supporting our consultants by ensuring our clients are receiving an exceptional service.

What will you be doing as one of our Customer Service Advisors?

  • Supporting our experienced and vibrant sales team, your role will involve sourcing people to fill job vacancies using a variety of methods including our in-house database, headhunting, online job boards, social media etc.
  • Receiving, reviewing, and qualifying job applications and creating a shortlist of candidates against each job role
  • Confirming and arranging interviews between clients & candidates
  • Carrying out reference checks and ensuring candidates have the correct documentation to be able to start work
  • Data entry onto our CRM system and other general admin duties

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office-based role which involved regularly speaking with people over the phone
  • GCSE A-C / 9-4 in Maths & English
  • You’ll spend a lot of the day on the phone to people you don’t know, so you must be confident in your ability to hold a conversation, build relationships and speak with people at all levels
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to cope with the demands of accurate data entry and maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills – you’ll need to be a strong listener who is empathetic

What’s nice to have?

  • Any sales experience or an interest to progress into sales would be an advantage but not essential
  • Any experience within the engineering or manufacturing sectors would be an advantage
  • Any experience within recruitment / HR would also be an advantage
