Dispatch Operative

We’re hiring for a Dispatch Operative to join a busy department at a market-leading manufacturer based in Trafford Park, Manchester. Joining a supportive warehouse team, you’ll be responsible for checking and preparing the products ready for dispatch.

This is a full-time permanent position with further opportunities to grow and develop within the company and we are looking for people who are happy working rotating day & night shifts.

What’s on offer?

• £24,000 per annum
• Working hours: Rotating day & night shifts
• Week 1: Mon-Thurs 7:30am – 4:30pm / 12:30pm finish Friday
• Week 2: Mon-Wed 10:00pm – 8:00am / 7:00am finish Friday
• Access to regular training to help you develop your skills
• Overtime is available at enhanced rates
• Free onsite parking

 What will you be doing as a Dispatch Operative?

• You will be an important part of the Packing & Dispatch team, ensuring that high end bespoke furniture orders are ready for delivery
• Checking and preparing the products ready for dispatch, then wrapping them using various protection methods ready for delivery via transport partners direct to the clients home​

What do you need?

• The ideal candidate will have previous experience in order packing / dispatch / warehouse work
• You will be standing / moving for most of the day and there will be an element of manual lifting so a good level of fitness is vital
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong communication skills
• The ability to work well within a team
