Engineering Stores Person

We’re hiring for an Engineering Stores Person to join a dynamic manufacturing team at their site based in Glossop.

This is a vital role in maintaining efficiency and accuracy within the production process, contributing to the smooth delivery of high-quality products.

• Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

What will you be doing as an Engineering Stores Person?

• Maintaining well-organised stores for efficient identification, collection, and issue of components
• Recording and storing items from internal and external sources
• Managing stock control to ensure accurate inventory levels are maintained
• Updating and maintaining accurate stock records on the ERP system
• Preparing complete and accurate kits for assembly
• Ensuring works orders are complete and closed off on the ERP system before forwarding to the Sales Coordinator

What do you need?

• BTEC/OND qualification in Mechanical Engineering
• The ability to interpret CAD drawings
• Strong attention to detail with excellent planning and organisational skills
• Proficiency in maintaining stock records on ERP systems
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative
