We’re hiring for a FLT Driver to join a large manufacturing site based in Glossop. You’ll be part of a high-volume manufacturing facility that supply a large stable client base, so this role would suit someone who is used to working in a fast-paced production environment, however full training will be provided.

Rotating Shifts: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm / 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

What will you be doing as an FLT Driver?

Assembling and labelling products with a high degree of care
Hand packing a range of goods into boxes, bags and cartons
Monitoring goods on the machines and highlighting any hazards or defects to management
Moving goods safely and accurately around the factory and warehouse
Operating machinery to assist with processing waste
Supporting the warehouse by loading and unloading stock
Keeping your working area safe and clear from hazards at all times
General tidying up and any other ad-hoc duties as and when required

What do you need?

A valid counterbalance licences
Possess the ability to work to targets
Previous experience in a production environment would be preferred but not essential
Good attention to detail and a high degree of care when handling products
Reliability, punctuality and an eagerness to help wherever you can
Must be able to stand for long periods and carry out repetitive tasks

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. In conversation with me, she was helpful, enthusiastic and very motivated to solve the problem of finding a job for me. I also have no problem calling the office to ask about something. All information or advice is presented very precisely. Also in my case, everything lasted only four days. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
