An established manufacturer are now hiring for an experienced FLT Driver to join their team in Glossop. You will be working in a busy environment so you must have experience on the trucks as speed and accuracy are essential in this role.

£12.13 – £14.55 (depending on shift)
Weekend overtime at £19.40
Rotating shifts (6-2/2-10)

What will you be doing as a FLT Driver?

Moving goods safely and accurately around the factory & warehouse
Keeping your working area safe and clear from hazards
Operating machinery to assist with production
General yard & warehouse duties as and when required
Understanding written & verbal instructions and effectively communicating with your work colleagues

What will you need?

Previous manufacturing experience highly advantageous
A minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a truck
Excellent work ethic and punctuality
Flexibility, as you may be asked to work different shift patterns from time to time
Good communication and team working skills
Good working knowledge of Health & Safety policies

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. In conversation with me, she was helpful, enthusiastic and very motivated to solve the problem of finding a job for me. I also have no problem calling the office to ask about something. All information or advice is presented very precisely. Also in my case, everything lasted only four days. On the first day, meeting and registration at the KPJ office in Glossop, and on the fourth day I went to work, WOW !!!, exactly the kind of work I was thinking about. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
