Furniture Installer

We’re hiring for an experienced Furniture Installer to join the busy workshop of a bespoke furniture maker based in Congleton, Cheshire. Joining a market leading company who are dedicated to quality, this is an opportunity to be a part of an expanding family business who offer excellent career prospects.

What’s on offer?

• £21,000 – £25,000 per annum depending on experience
• Hours of work: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday (30-minute lunch break)
• Full-time permanent job

You could be working away up to 3 days per week fitting bespoke furniture into customers’ homes throughout the UK – accommodation and meal allowances are provided as well as the use of the company van.

What will you be doing as a Furniture Installer?

• Manufacturing wardrobes, book cases, radiator cabinets, under stairs storage, kitchens and one off bespoke pieces
• Day to day bench work including the operation of quality joinery machinery and tools
• Working from drawings to make the final product ready for installation
• Working as part of a skilled team to install bespoke goods into customers homes across the UK

What do you need?

• Great carpentry skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
• The ability to carry out labour intensive tasks
• Must have a full clean UK driving licence
• Flexibility as occasionally you will be required to stay overnight away from home
• The ability to use all types of woodworking machinery preferred
• CNC knowledge
