General Operative

We’re hiring for General Operatives to join a well-established company in Buxton, High Peak. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, helping to keep production running smoothly.

What’s on offer?

• Pay: £11.92 – £12.79 per hour
• Hours: Various shift patterns (40.25 hours per week)
• Job Type: Ongoing contract (up to 6 months)
• Immediate start,weekly pay, workwear/PPE provided and laundered

What will you be doing as a General Operative?

• Assisting with the movement of materials and products across the production area
• Carrying out general warehouse and production support tasks
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
• Handling stock and materials safely and efficiently
• Following health & safety guidelines at all times

What do you need?

• Experience in a hands-on role, ideally in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment
• A reliable and hard-working attitude with a willingness to learn
• The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work safely in a busy environment
