We’re hiring for a Graduate Design /Process Integration Engineer to join a progressive engineering team based in Oldham, Greater Manchester. As a Design Engineer you will be involved in developing, implementing, sustaining, and improving semiconductor designs and products.
Initially you will undergo extensive training in semiconductor design, process Integration and test and will quickly contribute to the new product development team and design group. Training will cover all aspects required in the new product creation process.

What will you be doing as a Process Integration Engineer?
- Aiding the engineering team with specification, design, and development of new products and technologies: product definition, application, circuit, device and process simulation, layout, design of experiments, measurements, and analysis of trial results
- Developing the process platforms, establishment and re-use of design rules and functional blocks to reduce TTM and maximize RFT design
- Providing technical support for improving the performance, manufacturability, yield, and reliability of products as part of the company continuous improvement activity
- Developing the value of the Intellectual Property portfolio by documentation, re-use and protection, as appropriate
- Assisting in the solution of customer problems associated with use of our products
What do you need?
- Degree or equivalent in Physics, Electronics
- Good knowledge of solid-State Physics fundamentals
- Knowledge of semiconductor Transistors and Diode structures and how they are made and behave
- Comprehensive I.T. skills
- The ability to analyse data and write concise accurate technical reports
- Good organisational & prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High levels of self-motivation and flexibility
