Machine Operative 

We’re looking for an experienced Machine Operative to join a leading manufacturer at their site in the High Peak.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery, performing quality inspections, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and handling materials and finished goods.

What’s on offer?

• £11.50 – £12.00 per hour
• Monday – Thursday 7:15am – 5:30pm
• 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Machine Operative?

• Operating and monitoring machinery to produce foam products
• Performing quality inspections to ensure products meet defined standards
• Packing and labelling finished products
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Handling raw materials and storing finished good
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines
• Assisting with machine setup and changeovers

What do you need?

• Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
• A background in engineering is preferred
• Any experience with CNC machinery is advantageous
