Maintenance Welder

We’re hiring for a Maintenance Welder to join a new manufacturing facility based in Middleton, Rochdale working flexible shifts. Joining a close-knit team, you’ll be responsible for the repairing of machinery and equipment within the factory.

With a new management team, this established company have recently relocated to more modern facilities and due to recent growth, they are looking to add people to their manufacturing team to develop and grow with them.

• £22,880 – £27,040 per annum + Production Bonus
• Day shift: 4-day work week: flexible hours available
• Overtime available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday paid at time and a third

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Welder?

• Repairing all machinery and equipment, including clamps on the machines
• Basic welding of steel tools in order to maintain and refurbish various types of machinery
• MIG welding and replacing components in the workshop
• General maintenance jobs when needed and basic wiring tasks

What do you need?

• A minimum of 2 years MIG welding experience
• Maintenance skills, preferably qualifications
• Forklift Truck Licence would be beneficial
• Self-motivated and capable working well within a team
• Basic wiring experience would be advantageous
