KPJ Group is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading provider of packing services at their Blackburn site.
This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with mechanical bias and previous experience in food manufacturing.

What will you be doing as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer?
- Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on machinery and facilities
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently
- Performing repairs and general maintenance on equipment
- Setting up machinery during production changeovers
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and HACCP/BRC standards
- Maintaining optimal working conditions for equipment
What do you need?
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing maintenance role
- Familiarity with various types of machinery including multi head weighing machines, bagging machines & liner weighers
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- An apprenticeship in a relevant field (desirable)

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. In conversation with me, she was helpful, enthusiastic and very motivated to solve the problem of finding a job for me. I also have no problem calling the office to ask about something. All information or advice is presented very precisely. Also in my case, everything lasted only four days. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
