Paint Sprayer

We’re hiring for a Paint Sprayer to join a world leader in the manufacturing of material handling for trucks based in Openshaw, Tameside.

You’ll be joining a growing team as a Factory Painter and will be a part of a manufacturing team that pride themselves on providing high quality products and an excellent service to clients across Europe.

• Hours: Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm

What will you be doing as a Paint Sprayer?

• Working in a line environment as part of a team and achieve the daily targets
• Ensuring customer satisfaction in the painting of forks
• Housekeeping and general cleanliness of the paint area always
• Preparing forks using handheld tools and machines for painting
• Ensuring the finishing of the forks is to an excellent standard
• Using a spray gun and have good knowledge of how to strip and clean it
• Having good knowledge of the paint system and inspection of filters
• Occasionally using a crane and electric pallet truck

What do you need?

• The ability to use a crane and electric pallet truck
• Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Experience of using 2k paint
• Previous experience of working with paint, hardener, and thinners
• Physical fitness
• Knowledge of working with large products is an advantage
