Panel Wireman

An industry leading firm located in Heywood are looking for an experienced Panel Wireman to join them at their new state-of-the-art facility. This is a company that have been producing world-class clean air and containment equipment for the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors for half a century.

What’s on offer?

• £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
• Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Early finish on Fridays
• Annual bonus (based on company performance)
• 24 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Panel Wireman?

• Engaging directly in the hands-on construction of electrical appliances
• Working collaboratively within a specialised team of electricians and guided by detailed wiring diagrams
• Overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of operating procedures, coupled with diligent record-keeping of all electrical tests to ensure 100% product quality
• Producing high-quality work that aligns with company standards and adheres to design specifications
• Interpreting complex drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams to identify suitable materials and plan an efficient sequence of operations for building advanced electrical sub-assemblies

What do you need?

• A practical understanding of IEE regulations
• Familiarity with key regulations including BS EN 60204, BS EN 61010, and BS EN 60079
• Experience with electrical systems, along with the capability to conduct fault analysis, system diagnostics, and risk assessments
• City & Guilds 2360, 2382, and 2391 qualifications (desirable)
