An exciting role has become available for a dedicated Pressure Vessel Fabricator with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers at their site based in Warrington.

We’re looking for candidates with pressure vessel experience to contribute to the ongoing success of one of the UK’s most esteemed manufacturers in their field.

What’s on offer?

£24.00 – £28.00 per hour (Inclusive of Bonus)
Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Early finish on Fridays
Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
25 days holiday (excluding bank holidays)
Employer pension contribution scheme

What will you be doing as a Pressure Vessel Fabricator?

Taking charge of the fabrication process for pressure vessels, interpreting from drawings and selecting the right materials for fabrication
Using 2D AutoCAD to assist in the design and fabrication process
Undertaking TAC fabrication tasks to ensure each project meets company standards of quality
Working with written work Instruction to ensure the final component conforms to the drawing and planning specification
Selecting appropriate tools, equipment and materials in preparation of fitting operation
Positioning and fastening work pieces
Measuring, examining, and visually inspecting components to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as micrometres and verniers
Inputting production tickets on to SAP on completion of operations
Reporting any equipment fault or unusual occurrence
Meeting deadlines, be flexible dependable and time conscious and to work with minimum supervision
Complying with the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy and identify health and safety hazards prior to the commencement of work

What do you need?

Previous pressure vessel experience
Experienced in alloy fusion
An understanding of how to read and interpret engineering drawings

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
