Production Operative

We’re hiring for a Production Operative to join a friendly manufacturer based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, High Peak. Joining on an ongoing contract, you’ll be working night shifts to assist with the operation of heat press machinery.

What’s on offer?

• £10.50 per hour
• Night shifts: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am Sunday to Thursday
• Overtime of 1.5 after 40 hours
• Long term employment for the right candidates
• Career progression (previously employed temporary staff now full-time supervisors)

What will you be doing as a Factory Operative?

• Operating heat press machinery which will mould paper into specified products
• Packing finished products in a neat and stable manor
• Feeding machines working as a two-person team, possibly more
• Working to achievable targets in a fast-paced production environment

What do you need?

• Previous production experience preferred
• A can-do attitude, reliability and punctuality are essential
• The ability to stand for long periods and withstand repetitive tasks
