We’re hiring for a Project Administrator to join an award winning and marketing leading engineering company based in Glossop. With two sites situated in the High Peak, they offer a range of steel and fabrication services to their stable client base throughout the UK.

We’re looking for someone with an understanding of what it takes to see a project through from start to completion and is used to spinning a number of different plates. You will have a positive attitude and be able to anticipate the needs of the team and help to prevent and solve any issues that may arise.

 

What’s on offer?

  • Up to £25,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Dress down Fridays
  • Employee of the month

 

What will you be doing as a Project Administrator?

  • Responding to client enquiries and updating them on the progress of the projects
  • Ensuring all deadlines are met and keeping the team informed by ensuring that project information is prepared and distributed within the required timescales
  • Raising and sending invoices and chasing payments from clients
  • Managing client communication on behalf of the Management
  • Liaising with suppliers on orders and processing onto Sage
  • Liaising with internal departments on upcoming projects
  • Providing admin support to management
  • Able to assist with management for projects, including filing, admin, invoices, POs for projects

 

What do you need?

  • Previous experience in a managerial / supervisory role preferred
  • You need to be enthusiastic, a conscientious team player, and someone with excellent time management skills
  • Being a self-starter is a must, with the ability to work autonomously; someone well organised and structured will enjoy this role
  • Knowledge and experience with Sage
  • Proven ability to take ownership of tasks and using own initiative
