What will you be doing as a Quality Engineer?
- Overseeing both internal and external audit programs, ensuring compliance and operational excellence
- Conducting meticulous internal audits focused on products, processes, and systems, aligned with EN9100 standards and specific customer criteria
- Assisting the Quality Manager in conducting surveillance and certification audits for the quality management system
- Driving enhancements to key processes and production provisions within company’s integrated management system
- Administering the issuance of organisational stamps, conducting vision tests, and maintaining comprehensive competency records
- Managing the calibration system and process, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control
- Contributing to both short-term and long-term organisational quality strategies, helping to define and achieve quality goals
- Liaising with customers on quality assurance matters, including the handling of product quality notifications
- Participating in regular business quality reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvements
- Developing and delivering training modules focused on quality assurance, quality control, and supply chain requirements
- Evaluating customer and regulatory standards and specifications to ensure quality management system compliance
What do you need?
- Certified as a lead or internal auditor in EN9100 / ISO9001 standards
- Previous experience in quality assurance or inspection roles within aerospace, nuclear, or similarly regulated industries
- An in-depth understanding of EN9100 or ISO9001 regulatory guidelines and standards
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and other IT tools relevant to the role
- Experience with utilising methods like FMEA, 8D, SPC, 5Y, and Ishikawa
