Security Guard

We’re on the lookout for a Security Guard to join a dynamic team at a busy manufacturing site based in Glossop.

This role is crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the site, making a tangible impact on the day-to-day environment for all employees, visitors, and contractors.

What’s on offer?

• Fixed gross weekly pay of £670.59
• 4 week rotating shift pattern (6am – 6pm / 6pm – 6am)
• Day shift paid at 1.25x allowance / Night shift paid at 1.5x allowance

What will you be doing as a Security Guard?

• Supervising daily site security to ensure safe access and egress for employees, visitors, and contractors
• Ensuring all vehicles entering the site are recorded according to company procedures
• Managing site emergency procedures for incidents like fire, chemical spills, or floods
• Monitoring site compliance with health and safety regulations
• Managing security-related communications, including tannoy announcements
• Handling key management and mail distribution
• Conducting security searches as required
• Overseeing the removal of company property to ensure proper authorisation
• Performing other duties in line with business needs

What do you need?

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable (full training will be provided)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage a busy working environment professionally
• A proactive, detail-oriented approach to tasks
