Security Guard

We’re hiring for a Security Guard to join a busy organisation based in Glossop. It will be your job to let all visitors, deliveries and HGV’s on and off site, ensuring surveillance equipment is monitored and the property is secure at all times.

What’s on offer?

• £507 per week
• On-going contract leading to a permanent contract
• Full-time hours
• Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts (4-week rotating shift pattern)

What will you be doing as a Security Guard?

• Spot checking vehicles leaving the depot, checking load against ticket/receipt
• Ensuring vehicles are parked safely and legally
• Providing high levels of customer service at all times to visitors and staff
• Ensuring that all incidents or accidents are logged accordingly
• Patrolling the outdoor areas and reporting any security concerns, defects, repairs, or health and safety concerns to management

What do you need?

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
• Flexibility as you will be expected to work days, nights and weekends
