We’re hiring for a Service Engineer to join a family-owned business based in Chapel-en-le-Frith to help service domestic properties across the High Peak by maintaining and repairing heating systems.
What’s on offer?
- £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
- Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (40 hours per week)
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates
- Company van
What will you be doing as a Service Engineer?
- Performing service and maintenance on a wide range of gas boilers, fires and heating systems
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, ensuring efficient and effective solutions
- Maintaining accurate records of all service visits and work performed
- Providing excellent customer service, answering client questions, and addressing concerns
- Complying with all health and safety regulations and best practices
What do you need?
- Experience working servicing, maintaining, and repairing domestic boilers
- Gas Safe Registered
- Full UK driving licence
- Industrial boiler and oven experience would be an advantage

Excellent service. I had never been with an agency before but if I ever had to again i would definitely go with kpj! Nothing was a problem, payslips always on time and correct and everybody I spoke to was lovely and helpful. Would recommend to anybody if they needed 👍

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. In conversation with me, she was helpful, enthusiastic and very motivated to solve the problem of finding a job for me. I also have no problem calling the office to ask about something. All information or advice is presented very precisely. Also in my case, everything lasted only four days. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
