£22,500 per annum (OTE £40K+)
We’re hiring for a Showroom Sales Designer to join a reputable furniture company based in Tameside who are renowned for the quality of their superior furniture. In line with their ongoing growth plans they are recruiting for a Showroom Salesperson to plan, design and sell their services, with a strong focus on the customer experience.

- £22,500 per annum (OTE £40K+)
- Commission paid monthly – 4% of net
- Flexitime: Monday – Friday (40 hours) some weekends / evenings

What will you be doing as a Showroom Sales Designer?
- Welcoming customers into the showroom and offering assistance over the phone
- Advising customers on furniture ranges, designs, product information and availability
- Taking customer leads, planning and designing furniture, following up on leads, making the sale, and following up with the customer queries
- Planning and carrying out direct marketing/ sales activities from specified leads
- Monitoring customer orders, ensuring orders are dispatched on time and in full
What do you need?
- Sales background: Facet-to-face sales/showroom experience (B2C preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills; friendly, professional, excellent communicator
- The ability to plan and organise with high attention to detail
- A creative mind and previous design knowledge / experience
What’s nice to have?
- Experience using CAD (Fusion, Sketchup, Rhino, Adobe)
- An understanding of furniture construction or any experience designing furniture
