Stores Operative

We’re looking for a Stores Operative to join a leading scientific services company at their site based in Chapel-en-le-Frith.

This role involves managing the arrival and dispatch of goods, hazardous chemicals, and waste, ensuring compliance with shipping and health regulations.

What will you be doing as a Stores Operative?

• Actioning receipt and delivery of goods, including hazardous chemicals
• Overseeing goods-in and goods-out processes in line with ADR and IATA regulations
• Ensuring compliance with shipping, customs, and hazardous materials regulations
• Maintaining accurate inventory records, stock levels, and managing waste disposal

What do you need?

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Previous experience in inventory management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
