We are hiring for a Stores Person to join a reputable installation firm based in Bredbury. You will be part of a skilled team who manufacture a range of equipment, which is then installed worldwide.
This company have been going for over 100 years and are still expanding. They pride themselves on working with new products regularly, allowing them to cater to all industries across the globe.
What’s on offer?
- £8.72 p/h plus attendance bonus making it £9.20 p/h (rising once passed probation period)
- Standard hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm Monday -Thursday, 7:30am – 12:30pm finish on Fridays
- Regular overtime
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays

- Christmas shutdown
- Onsite training
What will you be doing as a Stores Person?
- Recording all goods (in and out)
- Loading and unloading from vans into the stores
- Logging and recording all production
- Ordering all products and liaising with both warehouse and office
- Manufacturing a range of specialist equipment
What do you need?
- A valid FLT Licence (counterbalance) minimum 12-month experience prefered
- Good level of education (GCSE in Maths & English)
- Previous experience in a storeman/ warehouse environment
- Must be physically fit as manual labour will be involved
- Must be computer literate (usage of computer is a must)

I have found Gail to be a mine of useful information, she is very helpful in all aspects of contract employment. Just applied for a job that was advertised on CV Library about a Maintenance Engineer role.. Gale Turner very professionally rung me back straight away in regards to my CV and the job.. In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. In conversation with me, she was helpful, enthusiastic and very motivated to solve the problem of finding a job for me. I also have no problem calling the office to ask about something. All information or advice is presented very precisely. Also in my case, everything lasted only four days. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
