KPJ Group is currently recruiting for an IT System Engineer to join an established team within a dynamic IT environment at their site based in Worsley, Manchester.

This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in Microsoft Azure and Office 365, looking to take on a critical role in managing, maintaining, and advancing the company’s IT infrastructure.

What will you be doing as an IT System Engineer?

Managing and monitoring all systems and infrastructure within the Microsoft Azure and Office 365 environments
Installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems, applications, and system management tools
Setting up and troubleshooting routers and switches, ensuring high system availability
Leading crisis management efforts, enhancing security measures, and adhering to Cyber Security protocols
Resolving IT service issues related to Azure, O365, and other company-supported applications
Collaborating with IT teams and departments to resolve complex networking challenges
Designing information and operational support systems and providing 2nd and 3rd level help desk support
Liaising with vendors and handling IT projects as assigned by management

What do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field
At least five years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Office 365 in large-scale environments
Proven skills in troubleshooting complex networking issues, including routing and switching
Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Windows Server technologies, and virtualised environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Familiarity with IT service management tools, VDI, DLP, SAP (preferred), and monitoring systems
Professional certifications in Microsoft Azure and/or Office 365 are highly desirable
Ability to work onsite, with some travel as required

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
