Technical Administrator


£20,000 - £22,000 per annum + Bonus

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Technical Administrator to join a specialist manufacturer based in the High Peak. You will be joining a team of 14 who are responsible for ensuring all new and existing clients receive a high standard of customer service.

The team is made up of sales professionals and administrators, all reporting into a dynamic and supportive Operations Manager. You will be working alongside the Sales Administrators processing orders and liaising with clients on each product, ensuring all products are demonstrated to customers using computer aided design (CAD).

The successful candidate will be working closely with technical drawings, as well as regularly updating customers and other internal teams. Whilst this is not a design role, a good level of computing/technical knowledge is to be expected in order to accurately quote the projects.

  • £20,000 – £22,000 depending on experience

What will you be doing as a Technical Administrator?

  • Liaising with clients via email and telephone on various bespoke projects
  • Providing first line product and service support, e.g. product data sheets, specification documents, marketing materials etc.
  • Using Solidwork 2017 3D software to view and create bespoke drawings
  • Acting as the first point of contact for product enquiries and processing client orders
  • Maintaining regular customer communications with clients

What do you need?

  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge
  • An interest in IT / graphic design / Solidworks / CAD beneficial
  • A good understanding of software and technology
  • Previous admin / office support experience
  • Experience with SAGE line 50 advantageous
  • Good organisation skills and excellent attention to detail


  • A-Levels or degree qualified
  • Collage design or IT grade with graphics
