Technical Administrator

We’re hiring for a Technical Administrator to join an award winning and marketing leading engineering company based in Glossop. With two sites situated in the High Peak, they offer a range of steel and fabrication services to their stable client base throughout the UK.

Reporting into the Technical Manager, your role will primarily focus on several tasks that require great organisation skills, and the ability to deliver a very high standard of work and accuracy whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service (both internal and external).

What’s on offer?

• Up to £22,000 per annum
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• 23 days holiday + bank holidays
• Dress down Fridays
• Employee of the month

What will you be doing as a Technical Administrator?

• Ensuring efficient communication with customers on their orders and providing technical support where necessary
• Ensuring all risk assessments are completed for the engineers on site
• Generating quotes ensuring all administration is recorded correctly
• Liaising with suppliers and maintaining / developing relationships
• Assisting in the gathering of data to help improve the internal systems

What do you need?

• Experience of technical administration or administration in a technical environment (engineering, industrial, building services, facilities maintenance, manufacturing)
• Good organisational skills including the ability to multitask, prioritise work and complete within deadlines
• The ability to collaborate and build strong relationships
• Experience carrying out risk assessments would be an advantage
• Brilliant customer service skills, a great telephone manner and a profession approach
