Warehouse Operative

We’re hiring for a Warehouse Operative to join a national manufacturer based in Whaley Bridge, High Peak.

This company need you as part of their warehouse team to aid their growth as they ramp up the supply of their products across a variety of key industries.

What’s on offer?

• £12.95 per hour (rising to £13.65 once fully trained)
• Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
• 21 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
• Christmas shutdown
• Paid social events / Christmas party
• Onsite parking

What will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative?

• Ensuring that all products are ready for dispatch and match relevant paperwork
• Checking order numbers against the batches
• Accurately recording product numbers
• Quality checking the products and reporting any defects
• Picking, packing and labelling the products
• General warehouse duties

What do you need?

• Previous experience within a warehouse or production environment desirable
• Good standard of Maths and English
• Experience with labelling and packing products preferred
• FLT experience desirable (training provided)
