Warehouse Operative

We’re hiring for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy department at a large, well-established manufacturer based in Stalybridge, Tameside.

What’s on offer?

• £11.90 per hour
• Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm / Friday 2:30 finish
• Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays

What will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative?

• Scanning and wrapping pallets
• Working closely with deliveries to help load/unload product
• Operating warehouse equipment safely, including forklift trucks to help carry out your duties
• Identifying and reporting any problems or faults relating to your area or any other area of your responsibility
• Operating in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures
• Ensuring that housekeeping is maintained

What do you need?

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Physically fit enough to manually move products
• FLT License advantageous but not essential (full training available)
• Reliable, hard working and good communication skills
