We’re hiring for a Warehouse Operative to join a family run packaging distribution company based in Chapel-en-le-Frith who are experiencing an outstanding period of growth due to an increase in demand. They are a key supplier of plastic containers to a multitude of sectors and industries from e-liquid bottles to industrial containers and everything in between.
What’s on offer?
- £19,760 – £20,800 per annum
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- 40 hours per week
- Full-time permanent job
- Free parking
What will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative?
- Working as a team you will be tasked with picking products from a large storage area
- Packing products in a neat and professional manner
- Preparing products ready for despatch
- General warehouse duties
What do you need?
- Experience of working in a distribution setting preferred
- FLT license advantageous but not essential
- The ability to work as part of a team or on your own

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. In conversation with me, she was helpful, enthusiastic and very motivated to solve the problem of finding a job for me. I also have no problem calling the office to ask about something. All information or advice is presented very precisely. Also in my case, everything lasted only four days. On the first day, meeting and registration at the KPJ office in Glossop, and on the fourth day I went to work, WOW !!!, exactly the kind of work I was thinking about. Therefore, once again with full responsibility, I would like to recommend Kirsty and KPJ Group to everyone. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
