We’re hiring for a Fabricator Welder to join a well-established manufacturing company in Macclesfield that supplies high-quality fabrications to a variety of key industries.
In this role, you’ll be using a range of equipment and welding processes to create bespoke components, ensuring precision and high standards are met.
What’s on offer?
- £16.50 per hour
- Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Overtime available
- 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
- A varied role with the opportunity to work on diverse fabrication projects
What will you be doing as a Fabricator Welder?
- Fabricating bespoke items from engineering drawings to exact tolerances
- Working with laser cut profiles, guillotines, band saws, drills, press brakes, hydroform, and rollers
- Welding thin gauge stainless steel, aluminium, and carbon steel using TIG welding
- Ensuring a high standard of cosmetic finish in all welding work
- Assisting in other areas of production when required
- Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and maintaining a professional approach
What do you need?
- Time-served experience in fabrication and welding
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds certifications
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Pipe welding experience (advantageous)
- A flexible approach to work and willingness to work overtime when needed
