Welder Fabricator

KPJ Group is currently recruiting for a Fabricator/Welder to join a well-established precision engineering company at their site based in Stockport.

This role offers the chance to work on unique, custom projects, providing a new challenge each day.

What’s on offer?

• £17.67 per hour
• Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm OR 8:00am – 4:00pm
• Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
• 33 days holiday
• Paid time off for doctors/dentist appointments

What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?

• Reading technical drawings and understanding data sheets
• Using manual tools, grinders, saws, and Oxy-Acetylene torches
• Performing MIG and TIG welding on mild steels and, ideally, aluminium and stainless steel
• Ensuring quality of work meets drawing tolerances and standards
• Completing daily time records and adhering to safety standards

What do you need?

• Experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Proficiency with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel (preferred)
• Experience in precision engineering and bespoke projects
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
• Time-served tradesman qualification
