We’re hiring for a Welder Fabricator to join a leading architectural welding and fabrication company based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Working with a variety of industries on various bespoke projects, your role will involve custom fabrication and welding of stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium.

What’s on offer?

£14 – £16 per hour
Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4.30pm / Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
Overtime rate x1.5
Christmas bonus
Christmas party

What will you be doing as a Welder Fabricator?

This role will be based both in a workshop but also traveling out to site to fit the products and complete projects
Welding various metals including Stainless Steel; Mild Steel; Aluminium etc.
Performing various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal components with high precision
Reading engineering drawings and fabricating products from scratch

What do you need?

Apprentices served in Welding / Fabrication is preferred
Experience welding and fabricating using MIG. Any TIG / Stick experience advantageous
Experience working with one off bespoke metal products
Full UK driving licence

In my opinion the KPJ Group is a unique group of people. I would like to mention one person, Kirsty Willocks. Kirsty is one of the consultants working at the KPJ Group in Glossop. I had a serious problem finding a job near my home, as well as bad experience with many recruiting agencies, that did not pay on time or found work far from my home or promised work and then called at the last minute and cancelled shift. I don't own a car and that's why I was looking for a job closer to my home and family. I must say that I was extremely lucky to meet Kirsty, who helped me find a job within a few days, 15 minutes on foot from home, as well as work in a company where people respects people and the atmosphere in this company is fantastic. Kirsty is a sincerely committed consultant and approaches the problem with full responsibility. In conversation with me, she was helpful, enthusiastic and very motivated to solve the problem of finding a job for me. I also have no problem calling the office to ask about something. All information or advice is presented very precisely. Also in my case, everything lasted only four days. From my experience, greediest agency ever. They took £23.00 from me for making out one pay slip. They took £19.00 from me for 'work finding commission', which I never agreed to, and in fact I never commissioned them to do anything. They just want to take as much from you as possible.
