Welder

One of the UK’s most reputable providers of high-quality pressure vessels are in need of a Welder to join their dynamic team based in Bolton.

We’re looking for your ability to perform a range of welding tasks with a distinguished level of care and accuracy.

What’s on offer?

• £15.66 per hour
• Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm (early finish on Fridays)
• Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
• 25 days holiday

What will you be doing as a Welder?

• Performing coded welding tasks, adhering to industry standards and technical drawings
• Conducting non-destructive examinations (NDE) and maintaining accurate inspection records
• Participating in and evaluating weld test qualifications for quality assurance
• Demonstrating proficiency in TIG, Stick, and Flux Core MIG welding techniques
• Selecting appropriate welding methods and equipment for specific materials and projects
• Ensuring proper joint preparation, filler material selection, and heat control during welding
• Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment
• Following safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents
• Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and meet specifications
• Continuously improving welding techniques and stay updated on industry advancements

What do you need?

• Previous experience operating as a welder
• Knowledge of how to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong level of communication and time management skills
• A keen eye for detail
